DTG in the fast lane – planning and tendering in under 8 months
The existing stage management system at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen has evolved over many years, but is no longer technically up to date and is only partially suited to today’s workflows.
At the end of 2025, theapro was commissioned to handle the planning, tendering and project supervision for the system’s renewal. As the work must be carried out during the 2026 season break, it was clear that planning and tendering would have to be completed within a very tight timeframe.
The new stage management system includes, amongst other things:
- a new stage management console
- the associated control centres
- an intercom and paging system
- a monitoring system
- and a modern lighting control system
Last week, the project entered the construction phase with the kick-off meeting. An initial demonstration of the new stage manager’s console was already presented at this event.
The crucial phase will then begin shortly: implementation during the season break.
